Events

During the summer of 2006 Stoke Snooker Club will be represented by both pool and darts teams in the local Gosport leagues.

In addition at Stoke Snooker Club we will have the following events:

Stoke Snooker Premiership League
This an competition which will run throughout the summer for members of Stoke Juniors only. Last summer this event was won by Tony Dearing who received a trophy and cash prize of £40

Between the 1st June and the 1st September 2006 we have The Stoke Snooker Challenge. This is a 'ladder' format followed by a knockout event for the top four players, and is available to all players who have represented the club in League matches. There is a total prize fund of £150 for this event broken down as follows £100 to the winner, £30 to the runner up and £10 to each of the losing semi finalist.

August 2006
During August 2006 Stoke Snooker Club will host a 'Pool Challenge'. This is only open to Club members and is where players have to pot all the balls in the least number of shots. All money collected will be paid out to the winner. All attempts will have to be verified by another club member or preferably a member of staff. The last time we hosted such an event it was won by Lee Phillips who received over £100 as his prize fund.
